The e-Disclosure Information Project

The e-Disclosure Information Project collects and disseminates information about electronic disclosure in the context of the UK court rules and procedures. It is sponsored by the companies whose logos appear here. |
As well as the financial support,
their sponsorship provides a pool of expertise and
examples to draw on to illustrate what is involved in a electronic disclosure
and other aspects of efficient case management.

The main outputs from the Project are my blog, this web site and numerous public and in-house talks and seminars. |
Electronic
disclosure stands at the
cross-roads of two technical subjects - the CPR and the technology
solutions. I write and speak
about it, often in tandem with HHJ Simon Brown QC of Birmingham
Civil Justice Centre.
Judge Brown and I have since
spoken at a
Marcus Evans conference in London and at
ILTA Insight 2008. We are are booked to speak at
several other other conferences this year and I have embarked on a
series of ten regional educational sessions for the Law Society with
the title
E-disclosure - the rules, the practice and the benefits.
The initiative is being watched with interest by senior judiciary, by HM Courts Services and by the Law Society as well as by LiST, the Litigation Support Technology Group.
It embraces everything from policy to practice development to the details of data exchange. In addition to the bodies mentioned above, it is of importance to law firms and their corporate clients, and to suppliers of litigation support software and services.
