I qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and have been a legal IT consultant specialising in litigation support and e-disclosure since 1993. My main activity is the e-Disclosure Information Project |
News and information about my work with lawyers,
principally the e-Disclosure
Information Project and other matters relating to electronic
disclosure
|
|
The aim of the Project is to bring together litigation practitioners, their corporate clients, judges and suppliers with a common interest in improving the management of electronic documents in litigation. |
The e-Disclosure Information Project is sponsored by the companies whose logos appear on this site.
|
The main information vehicle for the Project is my blog which is updated frequently with news and views on e-disclosure topics. |
There are several conferences on E-Disclosure this year. I have put up a list of them. Everyone expecting to have to deal with e-Disclosure should go to at least one of them.
My white paper
The Place for EnCase® eDiscovery in Electronic Disclosure for Major
Corporations in UK Courts was launched at the IQPC conference in
London on Friday 23 May. There isl be more about this, and about
the packed two-day IQPC conference, on my
blog.
I spoke at a
seminar called E-Disclosure costs and responsibilities: a primer
for in-house and external counsel for CT Summation on 20 May,
with Nigel Murray of Trilantic.
A summary will appear shortly.

I spoke at this conference on 15 April with Mark Surguy of
Pinsent Masons and HHJ Simon Brown QC. Mark summarised the
considerable amount of ground covered in the last few months. I talked about
where responsibility lies for electronic disclosure, and Judge Brown covered
the court's expectations and proposed new forms of technology questionnaire
and directions order. Read my
reports on ILTA 2008.
I give training for law firm and corporate
clients, varied according to their needs. It covers not just the CPR, but
also the sources of electronic information, the required discussions and
agreements with other parties, tactical points, and the tools and services available to
handle, or to help you handle, all aspects of e-disclosure.
These posts on my blog captured the most attention in the last 30 days.
